About this event

Welcome to the conference celebrating the scientific and human legacy Distinguished Prof. Guenakh Mitselmakher has left through the University of Florida’s hadron collider physics program.

The conference will bring together scientists, past and present, who have participated in this program in the CDF and CMS experiments.

Presentations will describe attendees’ scientific experiences while at UF and their subsequent professional journeys.

The conference will commemorate Guenakh Mitselmakher and leave a tangible record of his outstanding legacy since the inception of the group over 30 years ago.

It will also be an opportunity for the group’s alumni to socialize, catch up, and perhaps establish new collaborations.
