The five-day International Workshop on “Correlations in Partonic and Hadronic Interactions” will be held at the INFN Frascati National Laboratory, Italy, from 14 to 18 December 2026.
The workshop will bring together theorists, phenomenologists, and experimentalists from different areas of nuclear and hadronic physics to discuss how correlations among quarks, gluons, nucleons, and nuclei manifest themselves in measurable observables.
The programme will connect complementary measurements across a broad range of energies and kinematic regimes, from the ongoing programme at Jefferson Lab, through the legacy and continuing analysis of HERMES and COMPASS data, to present and future opportunities with AMBER and LHCspin at CERN, the future Electron-Ion Collider, and prospective high-luminosity programmes at Jefferson Lab. Together, these programmes provide complementary access to the multidimensional structure of hadrons and nuclei and to the dynamics of strong interactions.
The scientific programme will focus on:
- 3-D structure and QCD
- Extraction of 3-D parton distributions
- Partonic structure beyond simple densities
- Experimental efforts and future facilities
- Confinement QCD and fundamental symmetries
- Software, AI, and modern tools for nuclear-physics data analysis
- Physics with low-energy proton and neutron beams
