Description
White Rabbit provides sub-nanosecond accuracy and picoseconds precision of synchronization for large distributed systems. It also allows for deterministic and reliable data delivery at a gigabit rate. The Ethernet-based network can connect thousands of nodes with typical distances of 10 km between nodes while even a 1000 km link is in operation with a lower accuracy. The hardware, firmware and software designs are fully open and at the same time commercialised and supported by multiple vendors.
