The main objective of the first part of the workshop is to install the DPHEP organisation. In addition, there will be updates from the various participating experiments on their efforts on data preservation as well as status reports and working sessions on common projects in HEP. The dialog with other communities will be hosted as an stand-alone session in the second part of the workshop in order to gather interest and prepare further projects and funding programs.
