      • Ensure 3.1 is correctly specified
        Spec file now requests bouncycastle provider. Still needs testing. Good RPMs installed. Need to inform them that the GLUE  archiver has moved. It will not be part of the 3.1 MON box for now.
      • Database pooling
        Have to work around the problem of keeping hold of the connection when a result set is returned as this may be accessed at any point in the future. I can't just return it to the pool once the result has been returned to the user. Needed for both MySQL and HSQLDB.
      • Fix the registry/mediator/spec compatibility and cleanup to conform to the design (or vice versa) except for replication. This will require some discussion before starting.
      • Build single war file with new and old code
        This may already be done
      • Investigate the configuration parameters for MySQL and for Tomcat
        Tried on RGMA17 but it does not work because the parameters are for the wrong JVM
      • RGMA_HOME value is built into the RPM. Should move to CATALINA_OPTS

        Should address Paventhan's bug and add in the meta data columns at the same time. We must first be very clear about the types of the columns.

      • Patch #1086  is in production so will need to tell people to start using the new exception soon
      • Get UI info so that we can get back in the RTM
        Now we must wait for 3.1 to be deployed. Need to look at the C++ header file on a WN to find out. In future each API component should deposit a file with the version number.

        Working on the HSQLDB - but find that HSQLDB code is not yet written and that HSQLDB does not support some operations such as autoincrement.. There is a nice plugin for SQL which he will use. The MySQLDB stuff works and will be checked in.

        Test cases for creating PP and declaring a table
      • Test that new streaming really works - once we have a producer

      • Write schema system tests
        Replication works on 3 machines. Once the task Q has the new operation it will be used. 
      • Improve error handling overall. 
      • Add DN protection
        We noted that tables should know who created them and not allow others to make subsequent modifications. This appears to require delegation code.
      • Tidy up logging 
        Done some work - need to compare with design and new logging document

      • Convert tests to python
        Finished comparing all tests on 1.5 and HEAD. There is one problem left in HEAD version with the service call tests where it compares the log file. Need to find out in each case if 1.5 or HEAD is "better".

      • Report on timing issues with R-GMA
        Was taking around 10 seconds a query - we now have a new registry and will try again. It is no better - but this could be an overloaded archiver
      • Track bug 27810 Some lfc-file-catalog service types do not have GlueServiceUniqueID attribute set
      • Track bug 22605 Glue Service Uniqueid issue
      • Track bug 28196 The service status attribute is missing (BDII) for ChannelAgent service type
      • Investigate SAGA plugin mechanism
        There is no documentation for the C++ mechanism. Now able to load 2 adapters but so far can only select one of them
      • Find how we want to do it to support multiple plugins

        Started reconciling - Found problem with consumer not behaving properly when there are problems.
