Description

The computing for the LHC experiments has resulted in spectacular physics during the first few years of running. Now, the long shutdown offers the possibility to re-think some of the underlying concepts, look back to the lessons learned from this first run, and at the same work on revised models for the next after LS1. Dr Torre Wenaus of Brookhaven National Lab will talk about the revisions made during LS1, and what the impact might be of these changes on the next run, and what this could means for the future at a high-luminosity LHC.
