1 IHEPCCC News
R.Sobie reported on the recent membership changes.
P.Clarke replaces P.Watkins as the UK member.
G.Conteras replaces G.H.Corral as the South American member.
F.Wuerthwein's term as an ad-hoc US member has ended and is being replaced.
W.von Ruden, R.Mount and S.Lin will form a Search Committee for a new Chair.
The term of the Chair is 2 years ending Feb 2008.
2 GDB Report
The Chair of the GDB (John Gordon) gave a report on the role and activities
of the WLCG Grid Deployment Board. His slides are available on the IHEPCCC
agenda page.
3 CHEP Report
R.Sobie gave a brief report on the status of the CHEP Proceedings.
There have been some copyright issues with IOP (Institute of Physics) which
has slightly delayed the progress of paper review. These issues (concerning
Open Access) have been resolved for the CHEP 2007 Proceedings.
4 Written report to ICFA
A draft outline was discussed during the meeting (see slides on the web).
A new outline will be distributed shortly that incorporates many of the
comments received during the meeting.
5 IHEPCCC Review
Members have been asked to get the feedback from their national or regional
ICFA member on the "value of the IHEPCCC". Members are also asked to provide
their feedback as well. This information can be emailed to the Chair who
will summarize the responses for the next meeting (prior to the December holidays).
