Description

Borexino is a solar neutrino and geoneutrino detector currently running at the Laboratori del Gran Sasso in Italy. The first phase of the experiment has been completed in 2010 and, after a successful purification campaign which have brought down the background further, a second phase is now in progress. The talk will report on the Phase I final results and on the first results of the Phase II, namely a new measurement of the geoneutrino flux and the detection of annual modulation of solar neutrinos. Finally, perspectives for the Phase II on solar neutrinos will be given.
