Description

We present the status of the simulation of the Angra Neutrino Project. The project aims at measuring neutrinos from the Angra power plant. The detector is being built at CBPF and will be installed in Angra later this year. After a short review of the motivation, design and construction of the apparatus, the simulation is discussed. The foreseen rates of the neutrino signal and of the major background components are presented together with the expected overall signal over noise rate.
