I will present new results for the fully differential Higgs plus one jet cross section at NNLO in perturbative QCD. I will review some technical details of the computation, and discuss its impact for Higgs analyses at the LHC. I will also briefly comment on the generality and flexibility of the computational framework used for this calculation
