The workshop intends to gather expert researchers and graduate students to work on connections between geometry and quantum field theory.
Conformal geometry and worldline methods have a long history, but the methods required to fully utilize these tools have only been recently fully developed. String inspired techniques have been known for some time to provide efficient alternatives to standard Feynman diagrams, these methods can now be applied to higher spin and gravitational fields via worldline spinning particle models, while methods of conformal geometry are finding many new physical applications in both an AdS/CFT setting and in studies of massive higher spin models.
Local expenses (travel within Mexico, lodging and food) for invited participants will be covered by the organization. Scientists wishing to participate with their own funding are welcome to join, upon registration. There may be limited additional funding for those without their own sources--please contact the organizers.
All participants are invited to register by August 31.
The present workshop is dedicated to the memory of Victor Manuel Villanueva Sandoval, our friend, colleague and coorganizer, who passed away on August 31, 2013, at the age of only 43. (Here is a group photo with Victor at last year School in Morelia.)
