Description
A measurement of the differential production cross section of the φ(1020)-meson at sqrt(s)=7 TeV using pp collision data collected with the ATLAS experiment is presented.
The φ(1020)-meson selection is based on the identification of kaons by their energy loss in the pixel detector. The differential cross section is measured as a function of the transverse momentum and rapidity. The measurement is compared to the prediction of various MC simulations.
