Description
The Higgs decay into W-pair bosons is a very important process at the LHC.
If the mass of the Higgs is close to the W-pair production threshold,
this channel dominates all other decays and we should rely exclusively on it for a discovery.
I will present a NNLO QCD calculation for the cross-section of the Higgs signal.
The Higgs boson production cross-section has historically challenged us to perform
very difficult perturbative computations. In this channel, the stringent
experimental cuts in the Higgs search may invalidate fixed order perturbation theory.
I will present a comparison of the NNLO calculation with resummation results and
leading order or NLO parton shower event generators.
