    News === The content of the first patch configuration LCG 54a will be most likely made concrete in the AF today. Possible candidates are - COOL performance increases - ROOT bug fix for osx python interaction - Rebuild of boost 1.34.1 for boost_python with python 2.5 - POOL bug fixes Nightly builds - A new slot dev3 has been put in place to contain bug fixes on top of LCG 54 ( since ~ 1 week) - The gcc 4.2 builds are close to be working. We probably need to rebuild the whole stack of externals for this. (Last week we have build the very latest gcc released (i.e. 4.2.3) for this platform) Round table === Atlas --- - Using LCGCMT 54 in nightlies will move into the main development branch within the next days - New CMT version available, Atlas is testing it at the moment, no problems were discovered so far Aob === -
