+ Actions done and progress
- was away six working days
- Savannah:
. new projects approved
. spams were posted by people who registered. By chance they were
submitted to the savcern project which means that I got notified
and could react quickly. The spams and their authors have been
deleted.
. following a meeting with Manuel, D. Quarrie and A. Pacheco I will
implement an option to leave the original item of a reassignement
sequence open until the final item of the chain gets closed.
. more iterations with Joachim Flammer (GLite MDW) on the Savannah
db structure in general and on the item history in particular
(he is developing a statistics program using a copy of the
savannah db)
- Hypernews:
. created new fora
. reactivated archived fora
+ Next actions
- implement the requested Savannah modifications for Atlas Offline
- complete the set of LCGCMT dynamic web pages with Stefan
- modify the NB summary to fit on the screen (no horiz scroll) and
harmonize it with the LCG config viewer

Stefan Roiser
+ Actions done
- Scripts for filling mysql database from a release are prepared, we
need to do the final debugging
- External software
- fastjet 2.3.0 has been rebuilt WITHOUT CGAL - after discussions with
the experiments the use of CGAL would have only brought a minor
gain and this was the only usage of the library so far. Thus we will re-
duce dependencies with this rebuilt
- A snapshot of gcc 4.3.0 has been installed in the contrib area
-
- Nightly builds
- Again a disk-full problem on one of the lxbuild nodes on Feb 6. We again
reported to problem to FIO and requested a fix. The solution is now, that
FIO will provide new build nodes (with bigger disks) per end Feb.
- Web server
- the lcgapp web server crashed twice on 11 and 12 Feb. Piotr has setup
lcgapp04 as a new machine. Today we will do the switch.
- LCG configurations
- We are currently preparing LCG 54a. The release is expected for Wednesday
+ Next actions
- With the new build nodes we urgently need the possibility to compile ROOT
cross architecture, we need to follow up on this
- The CASTOR tests in LCGCMT are also run on non provided platforms, the
easiest will be run them in a self-written qmtest class.
- Investigate the possibilities for a re-launch of the SPI web-pages (unifying wiki, html, etc.)
