Reports for the SPI project meeting 4. march 2008 ================================================== Yves Perrin + Actions done and progress - MARS interview - Savannah: . new projects approved . modified the script written for Joachim Flammer to include the email address of gLite members in the db user table. . implemented the option to handle item reassignment chain as requested by Atlas Offline. It will be available to Manuel and David Quarrie for testing on my development system before being put in production. - Hypernews: . created new fora . helped user migrating from other experiment to Atlas HN + Next actions - put the Savannah mods requested by Atlas Offline in production - complete the set of LCGCMT dynamic web pages with Stefan ================================================== Bertrand bellenot + Actions done - Released ROOT v5.18.00a for the usual platforms - installed cx_Oracle 4.2.1 for win32_vc71 - installed cx_Oracle 4.3.1 for win32_vc71 - re-installed boost 1.34.1_python2.5 for win32_vc71 - added .pyc python 2.5 for win32_vc71 (including pyc and pyo files) ================================================== Piotr Kolet + Actions done - helping with lcgcmt_54a release - helping with lcgcmt_54b release - helping with lcgcmt_54c release - fixing windows dev3 slot (setting the slot an debugging problems with it) - creating and testing GAUDI builders - creating LCGCMT builders (to install and test the LCGCMT itself. It is not fully tested yet) - integration Builders with nightlies. - helping Anton with GEANT4's qmtest - trying to fix lxr on lcgapp04 - unable to use lcgspi account on the node. - putting dev1 into new nightlies, rolling it back after midnight because of LCGCMT version - helping with macsft06, setting the environment to start nightlies on it. + Next actions - putting new nightlies into production + Problems - dev1 is using LCGCMT_53. We installed osx server on it. Some more installations missing (darwinports, openafs, etc.) After that we announce it to the LCG/AA developers - External software - cx_Oracle 4.3.1 installed for slc's and osx - Nightly builds - The promised new build servers were not deployed because of not passing the acceptance tests. The next deadline is end of next week. - The summer student selection was successful, the first choice of SPI was selected. + Next actions - Testing new version of cmt, setting up a bootstrap and interface mechanism for it - Project software web pages with Yves - ==================================================
