The George P. and Cynthia Woods Mitchell Institute for Fundamental Physics and Astronomy, housed in a 6-story, 43,700 square-foot elliptical building, is located at the corner of University Drive and Ireland Street on the main Texas A&M campus. Mitchell Institute adjoins the 5-story, L-shaped George P. Mitchell Physics Building. The Mitchell Institute is located in the northeast quadrant of the main Texas A&M campus, directly across from the Northside Parking Garage.
