Description
In this talk I will concentrate on the Heterotic - Type IIA duality when
fluxes are turned on. I will show that in a specific case the duality
involves M-theory rather than type IIA strings. For this case I will show
the construction on the M-theory side which is dual to the heterotic
compactifiactions on K3 x T^2 when gauge field fluxes along the torus are
considered.
