Description
Following the first release of ROOT 6, this ROOT I/O workshop will be dedicated to the discussion, prioritization and planning of the next enhancements of ROOT I/O in particular to support the increase in the number of core/thread/tasks. We are planning on a full day of presentations and discussions followed by two days set aside for additional ad-hoc discussions in smaller group to focus on some of the more important point raised in the plenary. We want to hear from experiments and users including, unaddressed blockers, input on priorities and your wildest dreams.
