By plane:
You can fly to either Liverpool or Manchester international airport.
Taxis can be arranged in advance from either Manchester or Liverpool airport to the hotel. The cost for this will be (approx.) £35 (single). This price includes the driver meeting you at arrivals and you will have to pay them in cash. Please let the organisers know your arrival and departure details by 30 May 2014 if you require a taxi booking.
By car:
Daresbury Laboratory is 5 miles (8 km) south west of Warrington and 5 miles (8 km) east of Runcorn, immediately to the west of the A56 near the village of Daresbury.
It is located 1 mile (1.6 km) down the A56 from junction 11 of the M56 motorway, connecting to the national motorway network via the M6 (6 miles east).
By rail:
There are frequent intercity train services to both Runcorn and Warrington Bank Quay stations. There are also local services from Warrington Central.

Buses from Warrington and Runcorn:
From Warrington the bus 329 passes both train stations on the way to the Sci‐Tech Daresbury site and the X30 goes from Central Station to Daresbury Village. From Runcorn Station the bus 200 travels to Sci‐Tech Daresbury.
