Description
After stressing the importance of kaon physics in searching for new physics I will briefly summarize the status of
the parameter $\epsilon$K in the standard model. The second part of my talk will be the presentation of new analyses of $K^+ \rightarrow \pi^+ \nu \bar{\nu}$ and $K_L \rightarrow \pi^0
\nu \bar{\nu}$ in the Standard Model and beyond. Finally, motivated by recent lattice results, I will briefly summarize the status of the Delta I=1/2 rule and of epsilon' /epsilon in the standard model."
