    DS: Mandate of Beam Physics group were presented. DS / GR: The issue of decelerator sector length was clarified; it has been decided earlier by the Design Comitee that the decelerator sector lengths will differ, in order to have the same final max. energy spread for all decelerator detectors (optimizes for extraction efficiency). HS: The terms "resolution", "accuracy", "precision" and "stability" were clarified/ The first two instrument specification drafts were discussed, damping ring (YP) and injector complex(LR).
