Organised by THE Port Association, hosted by CERN and Campus Biotech with partners from other non-governmental organisations, a three-day problem solving workshop hackathon will be devoted to humanitarian, social and public interest topics. Interdisciplinary teams of selected participants will work together in the fields of: communication - transport - health - science - learning - work - culture - data.

Preliminary agenda (The schedule is subject to change):
Selection Process:
1- The application will be open from May 1st to June 1st. - EXTENDED for applicants with medical & health background and artists!!
2- Short-listed applicants will be invited to attend a short video interview in the beginning-middle of June.
3- Successful candidates will be informed latest 7 weeks prior to the hackathon - 10th of August at the latest
Preparation Phase:
1- There will be six weeks of preparation phase prior to the hackathon. Participants are expected to communicate online with their teammates and get ready to attack their topics.
2- A SharePoint workspace will be prepared for each team.
Arrival day:
Guided/non-guided visits to CERN facilities will be organised on Thursday October 1st in the afternoon as part of the arrival day. Participation is suggested but not mandatory.
Three Days Hackathon:
1- There will be an introduction session on Friday morning October 2nd at 8 a.m. to start up the event.
2- Primal working spaces will be at IdeaSquare at CERN and at Campus Biotech in the heart of the United Nations district in Geneva.
3- A mid-term review will be held on Saturday October 3rd.
4- The final presentation session will be held in the evening of Sunday October 4th followed by After-Party.
