Description
A permanent – magnet, 3.3 km 8 GeV Recycler ring is used to accumulate antiprotons and prepare them for Tevatron shots. Two cooling systems, stochastic and electron, allows increasing of the antiproton phase density by a factor of ~ 50 and storing up to 51012 antiprotons with the storage efficiency above 90%. The paper will describe the status of the Recycler ring and its operation.
