A brief overview of the way Quattor and the configuration language work. Should should read up on the system beforehand, so that most of the time can be spent on the concepts and ideas behind the Global Schema for configuration.
What components for configuring grid services are out there (approx. 50?) and what is there general state: bloated object (does lots of detailed configuration itself), config-file-writer, template-based, etc.
compile a list of configuration data that is common to more than one object. We probably need to go through all the components and see whether data are duplicated (either obviously or implicitly)
