    Attendees: Bertrand Bellenot, Hubert Degaudenzi, Emil Obreshkov, Stefan Roiser News === New foreseen configurations --- - LCG 54h - will contain bug fixes in POOL Collections, in connection with minor fixes in CORAL and COOL - LCG 55b - will contain new interface packages for Grid software, roofit 2.91 compiled against ROOT 5.18 plus interface, Details about the new configurations can be found at the usual page https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/SPI/LcgConfigurations gcc 4.3 --- - During the recompilation process some packages needed to be upgraded, they were not compiling anymore on gcc 4.3. The upgrades of the package versions will be done after the two new releases have been done. - A new version of HepPDT is pending. The developers were contacted they will provide a fix for it. VC9 --- - new problem with externals using STL. The STL implementation of the new compiler has changed, so every package using STL needs to be recompiled. LCG_Settings --- The proposed changes for LCG_Settings for tag unification are being prepared, they will be committed to the LCGCMT repository and subsequently tried in the dev slot of the LCG nightlies after the two new releases (54h and 55b) have been done Round Table === LHCb --- - Hubert requested a new installation of Fluka in the external area, the request was sent to the fluka developers, they will take care of the installation - We shall try a later CMT version for the nightly builds Hubert suggested to use -disble-warnings by default, otherwise too many warnings about non existing pathes (e.g. LD_LIBRARY_PATH) are being issued. Atlas --- - Atlas is currently working on the de-sealing of their software stack. - First tries were don to run slc4 binaries on slc5 machines, seeing a lot of problems because of compatibility layers not being installed, e.g. running for running ROOT - Stefan will grant access for Emil on the lxbuild116 virtual machines running slc5 32 and 64 bit
