Description

The Linux Solution Group (www.lisog.org) is a cooperation platform for companies and authorities with a strong interest in doing business or running applications based on Linux and Open Source. Members of the LiSoG range from global enterprises like IBM, Novell and Red Hat to small businesses, authorities and users. The session will explain the goals and targets of the LiSoG solution group. The speaker Niels Mache is a board member of the Linux Solution Group.

Summary

Die Linux Solution Group was founded in March 2005 with the goal to stimulate Linux
and Open Source based businesses. LiSoG is country spanning in Europe and has members
from Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
The LiSoG Linux Solution Group is a cooperation platform for global IT-players,
medium-sized businesses, service provider, users and local authorities - science and
community with a strong focus on Linux and Open Source services and applications.
LiSoG connects companies and users. With the supported scenarios, task forces and
supported projects LiSoG members create experience and confidence with Open Source
solutions and connect real end-users with real solutions based on an Open Source
ecosystem. In an independent architecture board, LiSoG develops several industry- and
technologie oriented solution scenarios. The Linux Solution Group is actively looking
for new interesting applications, contributors and members. Share vision, technology
and create experience confidence for the user. LiSoG is bridging technology,
businesses, applications and let know-how transfer become a reality.
