Boat Trip from Bergen to Osterøy 14:00
During the conference, we will have the pleasure of offering a five hour fjord trip, taking us through some of the Bergen and Osterøy fjords' most beautiful scenery.
The boat departs from the Bergen harbor Dreggekaien shortly before 2 pm. Please be there by 1:45 pm.
Leaving the harbour, we will have an excellent view of the famous Bergen bryggen, the old city of Bergen and the mountains surrounding the city.
We continue towards the Osterfjord, passing small villages and curches along the way.
As we approach the end point of Vikanes, the fjord gets more narrow and we will be surrounded by steep mountains and waterfalls.
before turning back and arriving at the Bergen harbour at approximately 7 pm.
Banquet at Fløien Restaurant 19:45
After the boat trip we take the Fløien funicular - Fløibanen - up to 320 meters asl where the Fløien Folkerestaurant is located.
The funicular departs from Vetrlidsallmenningen 21.
If you feel ambitious, you can also hike up to the restaurant. Simply walk up the stairs next to the funicular station and then follow the signs to Fløien. It takes about 20 min for Norwegians and 30-45 min for most others.
If the weather is good, the ride up as well as the restaurant location offer a fantastic view over Bergen with its mountains and fjord.
After the dinner, it will be possible to take the funicular down again, but we highly recommend joining the short and beautiful walk back down to town.
