    GIF++ installation and schedule meeting

    from last meeting:

    -Roberto: Beam time requests summarized. Total 3 periods of 3 weeks each or 4 periods 3,3,2,2 weeks each)

    -absorption factor need to be discussed for each side (upstream and downstream). Setup responsible should prepare their requests for gamma flux (very urgent!)

    -General reminder to all users that the source must be on as much as possible. If someone is putting off the source is his/her responsibility to:

    .Inform all gif users using the elog

    .restart the source at the end of the access

    In general long access or periods with source off must be requested and discussed during the Wednesday weekly meeting

    -Installation of cosmic trigger chambers under the false floor confirmed for Nov 23

    -Installation of water cooling requested for same week (Nov 23)

    -If opening during week Nov 23 is confirmed:

          Monday pm : open concrete blocks and start opening false floor

          Tuesday am: open roof

          Friday am: close roof and false floor

    -Roberto will ask to EN-MEF (Mats, David) the plan for shutdown of gas supply during Christmas

    -On-going discussions for beam trigger and air conditioning. Waiting news from Weizmann and Technion institutes and from EN-MEF (Adrian, Ilias)

        Installation requested for the week of November 23. EN-CV is not ready for that week. Propose either Nov 30 or Dec 7.

        HVAC:

        as discussed, further request to Adrian, Ilias (cc ATLAS and CMS TC, test beam coordinators and gif-active-users). Waiting for reply.
