Getting to Lisbon

Lisboa Airport (LIS) is served by a large number of airlines with daily direct flights o North and South America, to all large connection hubs to Asia and to most main cities in Europe. Several low cost airlines operate from the airport for intra-european flights.

 

Getting from Lisbon Airport to Instituto Superior Técnico

The airport is located close to the city centre and is connected to the Metro (underground) network. The conference venue (Instituto Superior Técnico, Alameda Campus) is located close to Alameda (red line) metro station. From airport arrivals follow signs to Metro, take the red line to Alameda (9th stop). The trip takes about 20 minutes.

 

Accommodation

A large variety of hotels and other accommodation possibilities is available in Lisbon, within walking distance or public transport from the Conference venue.
