Description

The purpose of this study were to study the heavy metal residures in aquatic plant, hyacinth, by using X-ray spectroscopy technique. The samples were collected from Somdet Phra Srinagarindra 84 (Thung Talad) park, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. It was found that the relative abundances of Fe, Mn, Zn, Pb, Br, Rb and Sr with respect to Ga (internal standard) decreased with the distance from the landfill waste, while Ni and Cu did not show the decrease.
