LCG 55c
----
55c contains a bug fix release of POOL and some enhancements in LCGCMT for later slc5 compilations. The LCG/AA s/w stack was built and released Wed. LHCb is currently preparing Gaudi and LHCb software on top of it.
LCG 56-pre1
---
A first pre release of the upcoming LCG 56 configuration has been built - starting Wed evening. The builds are not completely finished yet. For the already completed ones no errors have been spotted in respect to the nightlies dev slot, except for POOL builds on slc5/x84_64 -> to be investigated.
Nightly builds
---
The current set of problems in the dev slot (towards LCG 56).
- oracle libraries in the nightly builds are not loaded properly on slc5. Nevertheless running the failing tests interactively works fine. Stefan will investigate the difference between nightly builds and interactive running
- sqlite 3.4.0 has to be rebuilt for slc4 (it was built against a wrong version of readline - i.e. vers 5)
- the oracle libraries for 10.2.0.4 were not put on the windows build machine
- The following actions which were aims for LCG 56 have not been done yet
- Use of a common cmt version (Nov. 2008)
- VC9 porting
Depending on the timescale for a final LCG 56 release - to be decided - these issues will be included or postponed to a later bugfix version.
