SE failures - how to avoid SD of entire site
We provide suggestions to OPS VO only as (for now) OPS status is taken for availability/reliability calculation. Sites is free to keep open/close queues for other VOs. Proposal of recommendation for sites: switch to some other, relatively close SE (within the country) in case of SE downtime. Requires: reconfiguration of CE and all WNs (changes in 2 files) and sBDII restart. Question: do people like the idea of someone setting your SE as close one?
Proposal to setup top BDII per conutry and setup all sites within the country to the top BDII. Solution: We'll add automatic removal of failing instance from the current BDII poll.
Details from Lukasz on how do we determine the instance is failing for automatic DNS pool handling.
