Towards LCG 56
---
Current Problems to be fixed.
- POOL adaption to ROOT changes in TCollectionProxy - done - works today in the nightlies
- Boost 1.38, waiting for the release - due Mon Feb. 9, we are currently building agains a pre release fine
Some more problems:
- GAUDI compilation problem against gfal - which is due to some changes in gfal - we revert back to the old version
- Problems with VC9 compilations to be followed up.
- Compiler complaining about non compatible line ending in some files
- Runtime environment when running genmap in POOL
- There is a problem within Atlas where one cannot connect to oracle devdb10, we need the "full" client to cure this, Andrea will take care - leading to version 10.2.0.4-full
- pcre/rx removal has been done in code and configurations.
- POOL collection_write failure i686-slc5 - due to SELinux
From the LCG/AA perspective the earliest possible release date for LCG 56 will be Tuesday Feb. 10.
Round Table
===
LHCb
---
- cvs checkout with slc5 fails because of SELinux. The issue has been found also by Atlas and reported to IT (last Friday)
ROOT
---
- cerntsvdev01 is not accessible anymore. This was the only virtual Windows machine with a development environment on it. We will get back in contact with IT if such a machine can be made available again.
Atlas
---
- llvm installation was requested. SPI will follow up on it - probably after the LCG 56 release.
CMS
---
- Trying to build stack with externals with latest tags. Some problems found with ROOT dicitonaries and qt.
Aob
