The VFE workshop will take place at CEA-Saclay at INSTN (Institut National des Sciences et Techniques du Nucleaire) in room 112.

Direction
INSTN can be accessed from the CEA-Saclay east gate entrance (~200m)
on your left before the CEA security post.
CEA-Saclay east gate entrance can be reached by public transportation
involving a combination of train and bus as follow :
option 1
- from Paris take the RER train B line (called RER B) in the direction
« Saint Remy les Chevreuse ».
the RER B stations within Paris at the left bank of the Seine river are
Chatelet/les Halles, Saint Michel Notre Dame, Luxembourg, Port Royal,
Denfert-Rochereau, Cite Universitaire.
Chatelet/les Halles and Denfert-Rochereau are most convenient with a lot
of connections with the Paris subway system.
- get off at the station « Le Guichet » (~ 25 and 35 mn from Denfert Rochereau
or Chatelet/les Halles)
- take a bus from line 9
- get off at the bus stop « CEA - RN 306 » (after ~17 mn ride)
almost in front of the east entrance of CEA-Saclay and ~ 200 m from INSTN
Option 2
- from Paris take the RER train B line (called RER B) in the direction
« Saint Remy les Chevreuse ».
the RER B stations within Paris at the left bank of the Seine river are

There are presently many road works around Saclay and the whole area from
Ecole Polytechnique and Saclay which means that the trafic is sometimes
affected at rush hours.
Some more tips on public transportation if you are coming from :
from Orly airport
- take the automatic train ORLY VAL which stops at the station « Anthony »
of the RER B line
- take the RER B line (direction « Saint Remy les Chevreuse ») and get off
at « Massy Palaiseau » or « Le Guichet » stations
- from « Massy Palaiseau » or « Le Guichet » stations proceed as indicated
above for the bus to CEA-Saclay east-entrance (option 1 or 2).
from Charles de Gaulle airport
- take the RER B line (direction « Saint Remy les Chevreuse ») and get off
at « Massy Palaiseau » or « Le Guichet » stations
- from « Massy Palaiseau » or « Le Guichet » stations proceed as indicated
above for the bus to CEA-Saclay east-entrance (option 1 or 2).
(Charles de Gaulle airport and Saint Remy les chevreuse are 2 ends of the RER B line)
from « Gare de Lyon » fast train station
(fast trains i.e. TGV, from Geneva arrive at « Gare de Lyon » station in Paris)
- take the RER A line (direction Saint Germain en Laye or Poissy or Cergy le Haut)
and get off at « Chatelet les Halles » (1 station)
- take the RER B line (direction Saint Remy les Chevreuse and get off at
at « Massy Palaiseau » or « Le Guichet » stations
- from « Massy Palaiseau » or « Le Guichet » stations proceed as indicated
above for the bus to CEA-Saclay east-entrance (option 1 or 2).
from « Gare du Nord » train station
(fast trains from Brussels and London arrive at « Gare du Nord » station in Paris)
- take the RER B line (direction « Saint Remy les Chevreuse » and get off at
at « Massy Palaiseau » or « Le Guichet » stations
(« Gare du Nord » station is also a RER B line station)
- from « Massy Palaiseau » or « Le Guichet » stations proceed as indicated
above for the bus to CEA-Saclay east-entrance (option 1 or 2).
