Saraf Visit - detailed info and additional form

A visit to saraf lab will take place on March 19.

The Soreq Applied Research Accelerator Facility ( SARAF) is a multi-user and versatile particle accelerator facility. It is based on a proton/deuteron RF superconducting linear accelerator, with variable energy (5-40 MeV) and a continuous wave (CW) high ion current (0.04-5 mA), and located at the Soreq Nuclear Research Center.

Detailed visit plan

A bus to soreq will leave from the conference hotel at 8:30. Otherwise you can meet us at 9:50 near the  Soreq NRC gates  (click to get a waze link)

The visit will include lab tour and lectures regarding current status and future research plans. The visit will end at 17:00 at Soreq. We will then go for a short visit at the heart of Tel Aviv - in Sharona .

Expected return time to the hotel in Jerusalem  - 21:30.

We are organizing a special taxi that will take those not interested in going to Tel-Aviv  directly back to Jerusalem at the end of the Saraf tour.  please let us know via email if you are interested in this option. as we will reserve the taxi few days prior to the conference.

Registration to the saraf visit is done as part of the normal registration process. Note that this visit has a hard deadline at January 24, due to security clearance procedure.
