VENUE
The 1st MEDICIS-Promed General Training will take place in the Seminar area at the National Graphene Institute.The Seminar spaces A/B/C have been reserved for the event and will adequately accommodate all delegates, including space for lectures, group work, breakout area and the roof terrace for lunch, weather permitting.
The practical lab session will be held in the Nuclear laboratory in Schuster Building.

TRAVEL
The University of Manchester is about 30 minutes from the Manchester Airport.The airport has a number of transport links to the city:
- Train: the airport's two terminals are linked directly to the city centre by a fast, frequent 24-hour train link to both Piccadilly and Oxford Road stations.
- Taxi: a taxi from the airport to the University will cost approximately £20.
- Bus: local buses also run to the Oxford Road and Sackville Street areas of the campus.

The 147 bus offers an easy access from the Motel One Manchester-Piccadilly (Fairfield St/Piccadilly Rail Stn, Stop D) to the National Graphene Institute (Oxford Road/University Shopping Ctr, stop F).
