This project aims at promoting features, tools and, mostly IT, services via very short videos - ideally not exceeding 5 minutes. These short informative and educational sequences can be recorded by the CERN audiovisual services and/or screen capture tools at the desk. Our aim is to provide tools and advice for content owners and/or users of the information to do this. This is the kind of "rapid e-learning", also used in industry to familiarise people with procedures.

Summary and conclusions:
We agreed to proceed with the use cases' definition (see Template here) and recording, starting with those in the list that have completed their current development cycle. We shall use our dedicated indico category to monitor progress with the rehearsals and the Video Library to view and discuss working versions of the videos. End products are recommended to live in our dedicated CDS category.
Karolina confirmed, from her experience with the lhcathome tutorials, the need for a good preparation, attention to all the points for speakers presented at the meeting and multiple rehearsals to get the content brief and clear.
Sue asked what about content that will change and the tutorial will have to be re-done.
Tim and Pete replied that, if the content owners are comfortable with the use of the recording tools, they will update their short tutorials, in the way they update their text documentation.
Marek suggested that we send periodic reminders for reviewing short online tutorials' validity as we do with the SNOW Knowledge Base articles today. Pete said from his own experience, that when a content owner gets sufficiently experienced with making videos for his/her own service, he/she will make a template, so the next video versions will get easily done. Paul fears that when one does a video very rarely, one forgets how this was done months ago. So, giving the content to a specialist to make the video would be ideal for him. On this, Marek replied that if screen capture tools' private use is too complex, one can always just use the IT/CDA audiovisual services. Marek and Jose' advised that all videos, even if they are bound to be replaced by new versions regularly, should be registered in our dedicated CDS category. Thus, we shall have no file format (browsers' compatibility) problems and the videos will be easy to find. One should put the cds link in indico. Self-made videos should not be attached to the indico events but be registered in CDS. The CDS link should appear on the indico agenda for the final version of the video. Recording requests to the audiovisual team should be sent at least 1-2 days in advance. Erwin asked whether the audiovisual team helps with the video technicalities and content optimisation. The answer is they assist only at the beginning with the correct capture of the recording, so the technicalities only, not at all with the presentation of the content. Pete asked whether it is possible to add comments in a cds video. The answer is 'yes'. Maria asked whether the content of the indico Description field can be automatically reflected in the relevant CDS Abstract text. Marek answered 'no but you can obtain edit permissions to your cds category' to update your own CDS abstracts. Niels asked for the communication of cds counts of visits to the video owners. Marek promised to investigate this. Sue reminded us that AIS applications, given their wide use, can be good future use case candidates and asked why they are not in the list. Maria agreed they are optimal and should be there. Simply, as the project was new, we listed services, either very close to us organisationally or because their service managers contacted us with their own initiative.
