Here is some more information concerning SCET 2017:
1) Scientific Program:
The schedule of talks is available at

All talks will take place at the McGregor Memorial Conference Center:
Slides (pdf files) for the talks should be uploaded to Indico at least 6 hours before your talk. To do so, click on your talk title in the Indico schedule, log in and upload your talk. Please contact us if you need help.
2) Registration
If you haven't done so already, please pay the $100 registration fee at
https://commerce.wayne.edu/events/clas-events/physics-scet-2017.html
Graduate students do NOT need to pay the registration fee.
You can pick up your name tag at McGregor Memorial Conference Center (site of the conference) on Tuesday March 14 starting at 8 am.
3) Social events:
Breakfast:
Continental breakfast will be served every day at 8 am in the lobby of McGregor Memorial Conference Center.
Reception:
A reception will be held in the lobby of McGregor Memorial Conference Center on Tuesday March 14 at 6:00 pm with drinks and appetizers.
Banquet:
The workshop dinner will take place on Wednesday March 15 at the Detroit Historical Museum, which is a short walking distance from the workshop venue.
If you haven't done so already, please specify your choice for the main course: chicken, beef, or vegetarian.
Lunch is on your own. You will find a list of restaurants in your folder when you pick up your name tag.
4) Travel:
If you arriving by air, Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) is located about 20 miles from the University. You can either take a cab or rent a car. You can find more information at

The Inn of Ferry and the St. Regis hotel offer free shuttle services at a 5 mile radius.
