- Indico Weeks View
Since there was no presentation, we discussed over the directions after FCC week, in which we were very well represented. Tanaka-san said he will apply electron tagging for php background in FCC. Uta mentioned that our detector is still too conservative and we need another iteration with Peter et al. Also there were many new ideas from theorists in the workshop. We can do parton-level studies to speed up in various models. Kechen supported Uta that we can be much better in b-tagging. He also said we can try other Higgs coupling, like W or Z. Uta commented that we need to monitor carefully the width of our Higgs/top/W/Z peaks for our detector optimisation.
Evaluating a successful presentation of top quark physics studies at the FCC workshop, Orhan discussed the distributions obtained from new Delphes cards, and mentioned about preparation of a note on top quark FCNC studies. Further progress will be discussed in the next meetings.
Uta commented that we should move to Delphes 3.3, which has jet-flavor tagging.
