Description

We review the phenomenologically attractive Large Volume compactifications of Type IIB string theory. Soft terms for a general intersecting magnetised D7 brane MSSM model are computed within this class of compactifications, away from the dilute flux limit. The resulting low energy spectra are found using RG running, including effects of uncertainties due to lack of an explicit MSSM embedding. LHC signatures of the spectra are then analysed, and in favourable circumstances, the models may be discriminated from mSUGRA and mirage mediation models. We also show that aspects of the sparticle spectrum can be accurately reconstructed.
