================================================== Yves Perrin + Actions done and progress - Savannah  . received notifications not intended to us (warned project admins to check their e-groups settings)  . D. Quarrie & D. Rousseau / Atlas requested means to get at the Savannah db ... suggested to provide copy of their subset  . helped user to insert a (long and complicated) link into a comment  . helped F. Carminati / AliRoot to delete bug categories and implemented an option to select assignee by realname instead of username  . started writing a savannah 'internals' document + Next actions  . install the required modules on the new SLC5/SFT db Drupal host  . improve Savannah documentation and write a set of how-to's ================================================== Ana Gaspar + Actions done - Installed valgrind 3.5.0p1 - Replicated (twice) all externals and projects on afs - Installed HepPdt 2.6.0 and clhep 1.9.4.4 on windows - Installed Python 2.6.2 on Snow Leopard - Nightlies: - LHCb will start to use Nightlies -Changes after first discussion with Karol: -Allow 64 bits machines execute both 64 and 32 bits platforms -Modified the scripts check_server and launch_client to allow starting the Nightlies from wherever on afs -From WebUdpater the weburl value from configuration.xml was not taken into account to make the full url to the log files. This is done for each project and platform and is sent to the contact of the project with a summary of the results. -He started using the Nightlies on Windows, no news yet -Gunter started to use Nightlies on Windows -Seems that Geant4 checkout is not properly done. Need to discuss again with Gunter. -From my side Nightlies have been stable for the last 2 weeks. Very close to the results of dev2. Some extra tests fail for Coral and some extra warnings found in ROOT for windows vc9. + Next actions - Start using the Nightlies - Installed Python 2.5.4p2 and all the externals on Snow Leopard - Meet with Marc Magrans to discuss the changes needed to use our Nightlies in CMS + Problems - Python 2.5.4p2 on Snow Leopard, fixes made for 2.6.2 seem not to work with 2.5.4p2. Need to debug a bit more. ================================================== Jakob Blomer + Actions done All the scripts are ready for projects LCGCMT, ROOT, RELAX, COOL, POOL, CORAL, GAUDI, GAUDIATLAS.  In principal, the chain from building projects to the nightly.py webpage is established.  We changed the $PROJECT_test.sh scripts in LCG_Builders (56-patches and Head) a little to redirect the output on CernVM to a different directory. However, we still face freqent kernel oops with the Xen virtual machine. I suspect the FUSE kernel module to cause the errors.  Also, it might be due to the 32bit guest on the 64bit host. We currently just create 32bit repositories since lxbuild115 is not producing amd64 binaries for the dev slot. ================================================== Stefan Roiser + Actions done - Checking in external area for libraries with debug symbols. Some of the externals are built by default with -g thus increasing the library sizes. Atlas is checking for these and we strip the libs into a new patch release of the installation. Done so far for gcc and clhep (clhep actually has changed their build instructions). - libaio was missing on the slc5 lxbuild nodes. The latest oracle client 11.2 is depending on this lib now. The quattor profiles have been changed accordingly. ==================================================
