Description
In this work we investigate the conditions and mathematical tools that are necessary to generate a strong first-order electroweak phase transition (EWPT) in three models that extends the Standard Model (SM) with extra fields and extra symmetries. Concretely, we consider the real singlet scalar model, the inert doublet model (IDM) and he scotogenic model. Finally we establish the necessary conditions for EWPT and we analyzed the behavior of the effective potential at zero and finite temperatures for all models.
