Speaker Information



Information for Symposium Speakers



We are planning to use a MAC laptop as the presentation computer.   The projector is an HD (1920x1080 16:9 aspect ratio) capable one.

Please either upload your presentations into Indico or email them to Shawn (smckee@umich.edu) the night before your presentation time.  This will give us time to verify the presentation will display properly and get it uploaded onto Indico if needed.  In the break before each session starts we will be uploading the presentations onto the presentation laptop in the room. 

All presentations (besides the initial welcome session) are scheduled for 30 minute time-slots.  You should target your presentations to be no more than 25 minutes long to leave time for questions.

We intend to use Indico as a long-term record of the Symposium and would like to request that everyone either upload their talk to Indico (login using your Indico lightweight account and go to https://indico.cern.ch/event/692449/contributions/mine and click on the pencil icon) or email it to this speakers list by the night before your presentation.   If updates are needed we should be able to accommodate changes if they are made by the break before your talk's session.

One last item: we will be recording the event to make it available online and we need each speaker to sign a consent form which we be available at the venue check-in table.
