How to get to Grenoble?

By plane

Lyon - Saint Exupery Airport is a one-hour drive from Grenoble.
Regular shuttle buses operate to from Grenoble bus station but also the "Grenoble-Presqu'île" stop which is next to the laboratory. 

Geneva International Airport is a two-hour drive from Grenoble.
There are a shuttle bus service runs between Geneva International Airport and Grenoble bus station or the "Grenoble-Presqu'île" stop which is next to the laboratory.

By train

The high-speed TGV station is ideally located in the city center:

Grenoble - Lyon: regional trains every 30mn, and a 1h20 ride
Grenoble - Paris: 8 direct high-speed TGV trains per day connect Grenoble to the French capital in just over 3 hours.

By car

Grenoble is particularly easy to get to, by the A48 (Lyon, Valence), A41 (Chambéry, Annecy, Geneva) and A51 (Marseille, Nice) motorways.


How to reach the LPSC from Grenoble train station or city center?

The simplest to reach the LPSC is to take the Tram B, which runs through the city center, in the direction Grenoble Presqu'île. The LPSC is right in front of the terminus, "Presqu'île" station.

Tickets can be purchased singly at the tram station (distributors) and must be stamped before embarking (machines are available on the platforms). Tram B operates from 5.30am until past midnight.

Please note that your ID card or passport is necessary to access the lab. It has to be shown to the security guard at the main gate.
