Arrival

There is an airport in Bratislava with direct connection to a few European cities (Milan, Rome, Brusseles, London, Madrid, Dublin, Prague), the airport is connected with the city centre by bus 61 (running every 20 min, travel time to the downtown is 25-30 min.).

The convenient way to come is Vienna airport, from where the bus travel regularly, every 30min, three companies Flixbus, Slovaklines (bus stop 4) and Regiojet (bus stop 3) to Bratislava (duration of journey is 40-50 minutes).

You can get off either at "Bratislava - Einsteinova" (all 3 companies), or at "Most SNP "(Bratislava City Center, SNP Bridge) with Flixbus and Regiojet, or at "Bratislava - main bus station" (Autobusova stanica Mlynske Nivy) with Slovaklines.

Hotel Ibis is a short walk from "Most SNP ",  or take a bus 80 from "Bratislava - Einsteinova" (2 stops, get off at "Zochova").

Hotel Loft is nearby "Hodžovo námestie" stop, from "Bratislava - Einsteinova" take the bus 80 or 88 to "Aupark" (1 stop) and then two stops with buses 83, 84 or 93.

There are some reconstruction work currently around the  "Bratislava - main bus station", so public transport is slightly more complicated, therefore we recommend to get off at "Bratislava - Einsteinova" when coming from Slovaklines.

We have found a way to offer a taxi service as well, there is a possibility to book a taxi, which will come from Bratislava to pick-up you to your flight. The price is 40-45 Euro per car (app. half of the price of taxi taken at Vienna airport),  but the caveat is, that once booked (3 days in advance), it should be paid anyway, even if not used. If you are interested to book such a taxi, please send the name(s) and flight number(s) to our colleague Matúš Balogh:
