WIT talk with Geneviève Guinot, Group Leader of Compensation and Benefits and current Head of the Diversity Office at CERN.

Genevieve will be interviewed by Ioanna Koutava, Diversity Analyst and fellow at CERN.

As per usual, the talk will be followed by networking lunch in R2.

Short biography

Geneviève Guinot has been Group Leader for Compensation and Benefits within the HR department, since January 2017. Until the end of June 2018, she is CERN’s Diversity Programme Leader, a position she assumed in January 2014.

Genevieve joined CERN in November 2006 as an HR Advisor. She became in 2009 Group Leader for the HR advisor team and other services in charge of various HR processes (selection, performance management, classification). In 2014 she became Head of the Diversity Office and for two years led the effort to design and shape the so-called diversity measures of the last 5-yearly review.

Geneviève is holder of a PhD in engineering from Ecole Centrale de Paris, France and started her career as a scientist in the oil industry. She made the move to human resources early in her career following her passion for people development. Since then she graduated with a Bachelor in Law and a Masters in HR.
