HF Workshop

Welcome to the International Workshop on

"Heavy Flavor Production in High Energy Nuclear Collisions".

The heavy quarks provide unique probes in high energy p+p, p+A and A+A collisions to study the medium properties of hot QCD matter, and the partonic structure of cold nuclear matter. This Workshop aims to review the latest developments and to discuss the future perspectives on the theoretical and experimental studies of heavy flavor production.

The physics program plans to cover the following topics:

  • Recent open heavy flavor and quarkonia measurements at RHIC/LHC;
  • Theoretical developments for heavy quark dynamics in QGP;
  • HF/quarkonia production in e/p+p/A collisions;
  • Future directions of HF/quarkonia developments in QCD.
