I review rare kaon decays in the LHC era: we discuss interplay with
B-anomalies and possible New Physics in direct CP violation in K → 2
pi : very rare kaon decays like K → pi nu nu are very important to
this purpose We discuss also the decays K0 → mu mu due to the LHCB
measurement
