Description
The MINERvA experiment, located at Fermilab, will use the NuMI beam
line for measuring neutrino-nucleus interaction rates with very high
precision. In order to obtain the unprecedented precision MINERvA is
capable of, sophisticated calibration techniques are applied both
prior to installation and in situ. This poster will highlight some of
MINERvA's calibration efforts. In particular, I will talk about
calibrating PMT gains and scintillator response. MINERvA's
scintillator response is calculated using radioactive sources and
particle beams. I will also discus how PMT gains are calculate in
situ using the light injection system.
